My Modern Warfare 3 Expectations

The first COD i ever played, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, set my expectations very high for the series. These expectations just keep getting higher and higher with each release. The games are a monumental success, and will continue to be so, but there are a lot of things that, well... fuck shit up...

The fact that there are still no damn dedicated servers is a crime. Spend a little money on your community and invest in it, and you'll get more out, so come on Activision. The matchmaking is almost always awful, it feels like a kid trying to fit the square piece into the cirle hole, it just doesnt work. Like when even connecting to a game and it takes 45 minutes, and then puts you into one that is already lost and you get the L for it. WTF IS THAT SHIT!?

Enough of the rant. Modern Warfare 3 is released this November and we all know that were going to be excited, well at least most of us. Once again, we expect it to fix all the errors the other games stilll haven't managed to. ALL OF THEM.

It needs to bring the fun-factor back into COD.

With Black Ops it got lost with the addition of so many things it became a confusion of zubats, players trying everything out instead of just enjoying the game. The maps were also not made for fun but to run strategies and play hard. A growing concern of mine about the maps is the ever increasing size, in each game, they get bigger. To be honest i dont feel like running around the whole fucking map to kill one guy and end the game with 5 kills.

Whoop-dee-fucking-doo, you made an awesome looking huge map, where does it get you? It's more like a gym than a shootout with all the running you have to do. -__-

Let's see the introduction of a good number of new weapons, because frankly the same old guns make the game seem unoriginal and bland and THEY LOOK THE SAME IN EVERY FUCKING GAME. Is it too much to ask to change up the look at least a little?

One thing they should not change, and did perfectly in Black Ops is sniping. They evened it out so much that you can still quick scope if you want, but it's sufficiently challenging to encourage conventional sniping; using the sniper rifle to your advantage as a tactical weapon. Finally I'd like to see new fucking gamemodes and some existing modes dropped; its the same shit in every COD except World at War which had "War" and was the shit.

All in all, I know I'm going to pre-order it and hopefully get the limited edition one. Hopefully this time they put something better than night vision goggles or a RC-Car. Put something like a terrorist head, or a full working AK-47 in it. I promise you Infinity Ward people will buy it. People love that shit. Guns are like candy to COD player. So listen up and do that shit, ya fuckers.
